Welcome to the UAMS Image Repository

The UAMS Image Repository provides a centralized, secure image repository for UAMS clinical systems; the stroke program (formerly referred to as AR SAVES); and the statewide trauma system. The purpose of the clinical repository is to provide programs and departments with a secure means for storing medical imagery and the patient data for those images. The IDHI Stroke Program and the Trauma Image Repository support statewide initiatives to improve healthcare and save lives.

The stroke image repository which is an integral part of the IDHI Stroke Program accepts submitted medical imagery (primarily CT scans) from facilities throughout the state where physicians here at UAMS can provide assistance in diagnosis and treatment plans.

The Trauma Image Repository (or TIR) supports the statewide trauma system by providing an interface to transmit medical imagery between facilities for patient transfers. Within TIR, images taken by one participating facility can be made available to another participating facility should a patient require a transfer.
